remarked, Christ as the best of teachers taught His disciples what
was necessary and nothing more, because He said: "You cannot bear
them now" (John 16:12).
In this we see pedagogy in its splendor. Thus it is said that younger
professors seek to teach what they do not know; older professors seek
to teach what they know; and teachers advanced in years what is useful
to their disciples. This is what Christ did.
